It's about establishing a collaborative professional learning community,

Basically, it's just to thank the sign sponsors and thank the community for their participation in the light project.

We finally got enough support and enough funding from the community from the sign program to go ahead with this project. It was a big commitment to take on because we did not have the signs sold before we committed to the project. We pushed the sign sale and the community stepped right up and helped us out.

When a Y comes into the community, the community has to raise all the money and then build the facility to the Y's specifications. It's not like you can just toss a million dollars at them and they do it. It would end costing a lot more money than what we expected.

We're always trying to find a way to make contact with the community.
