You keep pitching. Most of the pitches run wild. A few are caught.

That's what keeps me going: dreaming, inventing, then hoping and dreaming some more in order to keep dreaming.

We were calling pitches to pitch around Ovens, but the pitchers weren't pitching it. It's that simple. We weren't calling for fastballs down the middle with base-runners on with the best hitter on their team standing there. They couldn't hit spots, and if you couldn't hit spots, he'll hit the ball.

I think every time he pitches, he's more emotional than he shows. Part of his pitching is that he gets up for these situations.

It was the good pitching we faced. We helped them out by chasing pitches out of the zone. We were not as disciplined. But we still had a couple of opportunities. We just did not get the hits.
