I'm a longtime believer in the old adage that sunlight is the best disinfectant, particularly in politics.

Whether or not we want to take something not broke and want to fix it, I think we should continue discussion. It's not imminent.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it' is the slogan of the complacent, the arrogant or the scared. It's an excuse for inaction, a call to non-arms.
