You know what my greatest personal stumbling block is? My shyness.

We often marvel at how introverted, geeky, kid 'blossom' into secure and happy adults. We liken it to a metamorphosis. However, maybe it's not the children who change but their environments. As adults they get to select the careers, spouses, and social circles that suit them. They don't have to live in whatever culture they'er plunked into.

Life goes on, and I'm moving on to the next thing, but I hope the soaps that are still running will thrive. They have millions of loyal viewers.

I'm lucky that I hooked up with my husband because he not only helps me but there's a joy for him as well. He enjoyed this part of me when we met. He was never threatened by it, by a woman who wanted a career. In fact, I think he prefers this, that I have a life as well. And I know my children have always known that they came first.

I love spaghetti and meatballs...I eat a lot.
