You might say the Orthodox are set in their ways. But it is the reverence for tradition, and respect for the historic decisions made in the fourth century that motivate us to hold fast to our Easter tradition.

We have the unique distinction of being the only Orthodox church dedicated to Saint Anna in the United States - and her Shrine since we have her relic. The parish has the responsibility of being prepared to offer hospitality to the thousands of people who will visit every year, and that is only proper that we build a church that will accommodate those visitors.

These decisions have been taken to restore the dignity and beauty of marriage and family and for the respect of God's commandments.

I don't envy or much respect people who are completely politicised.

What is the difference between killing one's will versus just killing them? At least for one they get to die as themselves. For the other, they just die.

One thing we haven't done is go to the federal government and enlist their aid in respect to our current situation.
