You pray in your distress and in your need; would that you might pray also in the fullness of your joy and in your days of abundance.

Wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving.

And when you crush an apple with your teeth, say to it in your heart:

And the buds of your tomorrow shall blossom in my heart,
And your fragrance shall be my breath,
And together we shall rejoice through all the seasons.

If the only prayer you said was thank you, that would be enough.

...as long as you imagine you are rich there is nothing to thank god for, and you cannot be aware of being loved. Too often the kind of thanksgiving we offer is too much a general thanksgiving, and the kind of repentance we bring to God is too much a general repentance.

Truth is a deep kindness that teaches us to be content in our everyday life and share with the people the same happiness.
