You see some teams that are demoralized by injuries. We're one team ... that's confident we won't miss a beat whether it's the first-string guy or the second-string guy.

This is the team that beat the Czechs. All the teams are good. We're disappointed with the outcome, but not the outlook.

All the injuries that we went through, not too many teams could stay together the way we did. Our team could have easily fell apart but Coach Sherman kept a positive attitude. At the pro level, you're dealing more and more with injuries. Teams don't really help you that much. They're all about ice bags and take some ibuprofen. There is not a lot of rehab going on, it's all up to the players to keep themselves healthy.

Con-Val is traditionally one of the better teams in the division. They?re a team we haven?t beaten in years. Our goal this year is to get to that final game and this was a big step in the right direction.
