You think you had a hard time with Dick Cheney , wait until you meet 'The View!'

Dick Cheney is a nice man. He has a nice demeanor, and he's nice to talk to, and all that's very important, ... I want to see compassion. I don't see compassion in the voting record.

If President Bush told Dick Cheney to do something, rather than the other way around, that would be a first for this White House. If, as these documents suggest, President Bush authorized Dick Cheney to authorize the leak only after Dick Cheney first authorized the President to do so, then the whole situation starts to make a little more sense.

It's still an open question about whether it hurts Dick Cheney legally. Only the special prosecutor, Patrick Fitzgerald, knows the answer to that question.
