You try to make the best of everything, and then you just break down and you cry. Tonight, we're gonna be OK. And we're gonna be OK. Everyone's gonna be OK, it's just going to be a process.

The best you get is an even break

We usually get a lot things going with our fast break. We weren't able to do that tonight.

Jennifer Merrick had stored all her tears inside her, and her pride and courage would never permit her to break down and shed them.

You can cry until there's nothing wet left in you. You can scream and curse until your throat rebels and ruptures. You can pray all you want, to whatever god you think will listen, and still it makes no difference. It goes on with no sign as to when it might release you, and you know that if it ever did relent, it would not be because it cared.

We won, so what more can you say? We would've liked to break a record, but that didn't happen tonight.
