You'll never make a fortune working for the boss man

Sometimes you need a little crisis to get your adrenaline flowing and help you realize your potential.

The goal is to create a “chit,” or IOU, so that, assuming you continue to perform well, the organization feels like it owes you the next time.

It is common to come across a perfectionist at work. Life is not that tough if you have a perfectionist sub-ordinate; life is a bit tough when you have a perfectionist peer; life is toughest
when you have a perfectionist supervisor!

Take some time during November and December to conduct a reality check of your professional life. This means evaluating your career path, updating your resume to reflect recent accomplishments, and creating goals for next year. Many companies do a lot of hiring and promoting in the first quarter of the year. If you take the time now to ready yourself for new opportunities, you can breeze through the holidays and be confident in your ability to meet new career prospects.

At this stage of my career, I've seen a lot and understand a lot, so whatever advice I can give the young kids, I'll help them out. They have to listen and be willing to make adjustments.
