Young women and men who joined the far-left groups did so for the best of reasons. They wanted to change the world. Many fought against the stifling atmosphere in many groups.

What we do best is we target the young men and women who are on the fringe. They could go either way. Maybe they have been in trouble before, but not serious trouble. ... We cherry-pick them and circumvent them away from the gang members and drug dealers ... (and encourage) them to hang out with us and become a Guardian Angel.

I help a lot of women in the corporate industry change their ideas of the way the corporate world is set up. Because men in the corporate world typically have wives at home to do everything, they don't face the same challenges women in the same positions face.

When I was in college, I wanted to be involved in things that would change the world.
