You're being told that the TV rating system is enough to protect children, that it's ultimately up to parents to do something about the problem caused by Hollywood. This to me is an amazing dodge. The ratings system has been an inconsistent, inaccurate, arbitrary and capricious mess.

When all of us are united on an issue, then one of two things has happened. Either the earth has spun off its axis, and we have all lost our minds, or there is universal support for a concept.

We were alarmed to find that the three worst shows ... are being marketed as family-friendly when in fact these shows are none other than wolves in sheep's clothing.

Rather himself is counting on a reversal of public opinion in the future, hoping to rehabilitate himself, just like his old nemesis, Richard Nixon.

It is curious that what is widely thought of as a contemptible aspect of Senator McCarthy's method actually amounts to nothing more than his intimacy with people. McCarthy's continuous appeal to the people sorely aggravates the same Liberals whose certified faith in the people's judgment never extends to those situations in which the people disagree with the Liberals.

The TV ratings are meaningless.
