You're not wasting time teaching kids things they already know.

It went very well. Our first turnout was about 25 kids, which was pretty good given the fact it was so new to the area. So hopefully we can look at trying to double those numbers.

Teaching kids to count is fine, but teaching kids what counts is best

The program was great and the kids were really excited. This really served as a teaching program, as well as, a learning one.

We really do more teaching than coaching. Another aspect of our job is keeping the kids focused. These kids are at a different emotional level and if things aren't going well for them, you have to get them back up.

The foundational thing is teaching kids about eating healthy and being physically active.
