You're playing against a stacked deck. I think that's all we're asking for was a fair shot for our community and our kids to enjoy the euphoria that goes with a trip to the state tournament.

The project (we) are working on is a community based, public-need project. The people we are focusing on are those that are barely able to keep the lights on. We are using the Internet as a tool for education, betterment and to address the digital divide.

So it was in Botswana, almost everywhere; ties of kinship, no matter how attenuated by distance or time, linked one person to another, weaving across the country a human blanket of love and community. And in the fibres of that blanket there were threads of obligation that meant that one could not ignore the claims of others. Nobody should starve; nobody should feel that they were outsiders; nobody should be alone in their sadness.

It's not about sour grapes. It's about a fair shot.

As a coach, you remain optimistic. You go into every battle, every contest, thinking if we do what's right, we play hard, we got a shot. This is about the kids of West Virginia. If you consider this proposal in that vein, how can you not vote for it?

It wasn't about kicking them out. This was not a proposal made out of sour grapes.
