A lot of gospel artists knew who he was. If he wasn't at home relaxing, he was playing his bass.

The bass player came stumbling in the door. At the time, I just thought he had a shoulder wound. I didn't know he was injured so seriously.

He was just a young cat on the rise. This shows me there's a lot of lost people out there who need help.

When he got to the door on the far end, he walked in the door and hit the wall and fell on the ground. I thought he was just going into shock, and I was trying to calm him down.

What we are looking for in that category (of tenants) is truly artists. We think there is always a home for those here ... and we would like to sprinkle those, as we can, throughout the tenancy of the market.

We are trying to revitalize things here, ... We want to make Calvert home to the three A's - authors, artists and antiques.
