After 37 years, I felt it was time to retire.

You live for yourself. There is more time for family and friends and the chance to travel. I can take off when I want and I don't need anyone's permission.

It would be nice if Western had a retired staff group with social activities to keep retirees in touch with the campus.

They take good care of people and provide excellent service.

I've always wanted to volunteer to do something significant. Today's a very good time for me to do it.
