All I know is that when I was a kid the Vietnam war was on and Jane Fonda was the own person standing up and saying what every kid who was nine-years-old like I was knew, war is wrong and we shouldn't go over and kill other people in a country that has nothing to do with us or our democracy.

You know, this President invaded a sovereign nation in defiance of the UN. He is basically a war criminal. Honestly. He should be tried at The Hague.

So many times peace was offered and war was chosen. I have no vengeance against the company. I am happy about the fact that it's finally over.

It was my view then, and still is, that you don't make war without knowing why. Knowledge of course, is always imperfect, but it seemed to me that when a nation goes to war it must have reasonable confidence in the justice and imperative of its cause. You can't fix your mistakes. Once people are dead, you can't make them undead.

It was just a coup. They tried to take over.

I think the promise of fame and what it holds to you as a child and dreaming of it is not what it is. What it is, I'm not complaining about, but it's just different than the reality you dreamed.
