If you think you have one good reason to be pessimistic, believe me there are much more better reasons to be optimistic.

A pessimist is optimistic that he would encounter the failures and an optimist is optimistic that he would encounter the successes but, eventually both are going to get disappointed because the optimistic would encounter unseen failures and pessimistic would get unexpected victories.

In general I am not as pessimistic as Gartner, but I am not as optimistic as Microsoft. I am a little concerned about some of the predictions based on the software (builds) we are seeing now?each build is more stable than the previous build?but there is still a long ways to go. If we don't see substantial stability improvements in May when we get Beta 2 then I will be worried.

If I were optimistic or pessimistic it really wouldn't make much difference. The fact is, we have to talk to them and see where we are.
