At halftime I kind of created a different zone offense for us to work on, and (West Iredell) came out in man. I think that relieved a little pressure from us. We were able to get the ball inside and attack their man and then kick off that.

The whole mood just wasn't good. Not making any excuses, though. East Lincoln went at us, and they've been playing well here lately. We were lucky to come away with the win.

We're looking forward to the challenge. I think it will be a different game. We may not win, but it'll be a different game.

I really wanted to get to the finals and win, but it didn't work out that way. He played really well and I didn't play so well in the second set.

Alex was sticking out at us. To use one of Jerry's terms, he was like a beacon light. I came in [Sunday] morning, and [area scout] Phil Emery was high on Alex. I said, 'Jerry, we've got to take this guy.' I literally had a dream about drafting him.

In the first half, they were posting in the middle on us, and we made an adjustment, but in the second half, we didn't block out. We shut them down and they got second-chance baskets with nobody on them. They really hurt us on the offensive glass.
