Attacking and scoring are areas I feel we need to improve on. Our defense is not a problem, but I would like us to get as aggressive on offense as we are on the defensive end.

Their guards are really, really fast. Because they?re in your face on defense and they?re so fast they make [turnovers] happen. I told the kids you gotta take it at them and to our credit they did.

It?s really important the way we play that we rotate on defense. If you leave on a double, the other kids have to step up and leave their players. The kids are doing it really well.

Her name of the game is speed. Mary puts a lot of pressure on the defense because of her speed and we will score runs when she is on the bases.

We feel like we have very strong pitching and our defense looks really good, too.

Playing quality schools like Alabama and South Florida are always good to have on a schedule playing-wise. Conference games are definitely the most important. Stephen F. Austin and Texas State are some of the standout games, and we want to play them hard to garner the respect of the other top tier teams in the conference.
