We feel like we have very strong pitching and our defense looks really good, too.

Her name of the game is speed. Mary puts a lot of pressure on the defense because of her speed and we will score runs when she is on the bases.

Last year, we started seven freshmen, and this year we will probably only start two. That makes it a lot easier for us to compete because we will have maturity and experience.

We will get a lot of players in during the tournament and get a good idea of who fits where in the lineup. In practice you get a good idea, but there is nothing like real-game situations.

Attacking and scoring are areas I feel we need to improve on. Our defense is not a problem, but I would like us to get as aggressive on offense as we are on the defensive end.
