Be where the acting is. I live in Houston. Dallas is 4 1/2 hours away. I let them know there's no difference.

There is no question that knowing someone in the business will get you in the door. But it is your skill that will keep you in the room.

Your connections might get you in the door, but it won't keep you there. And if you haven't prepared, you'll suck.

Our people are in Houston, Atlanta, Dallas and elsewhere, and they don't have places to live here.

When I go to Houston I always meet other veterans from Conroe and while we're waiting for hours and hours we talk about what we've heard about the Conroe clinic and when it's going to happen. There are a lot of veterans and we have a hard time with driving. If there was a clinic here in town you can get a neighbor to take you.

That's what I like about acting. You don't know where you'll be in year.
