CBS decided they would rather take care of the boys than the girls. We had an association with them for over 13 years. They made a change and told us after the fact.

We were getting the second team up in the tower and out on the course. All in all, I'm very happy to be with The Golf Channel. They're in 80 million homes and they continue to grow. And quality of their production has gotten better.

They took dates we had for a long time and stepped over them. That's not the way you do business. They were taking care of the boys and not the girls.

I could see both the boys and girls races being very close. It isn't just Penn and then everybody else, like before. There are a lot of teams in the mix.

A lot of the girls can shoot as hard as the guys. (But) the boys are so much quicker and faster. And they shoot from everywhere. So it really helps us to always be ready. It's good for reflexes.

Since a lot of them, the varsity boys and some of the girls, ran during the summer, we have been able to hit some hill work and speed work earlier in the season. Plus, we have added some circuit training; which includes sit-ups, push-ups and various other exercises to build the core muscles.
