[Creator] Greg Garcia and the producers are doing a great job creatively, and Jason Lee's Earl is a truly original TV comedy character that we hope will be around for years to come.

The best place to be is where you're desperate enough to take chances. That's why I took the job (in May 2004) -- I knew what I was in for . . . That's when you can do something fun -- what have you got to lose?

We've got some experienced blokes back, we're lucky enough to have Matthew Elliott come across, Jason back, Greg Blewett and myself, so that gives us some sort of basis with experience, and mix that with young guys we'll expect to play well, and we will play well.

He's going to be a terrific player, and he has done a great job. I've been harder on Greg than any kid on our team, but I need to be because he's that important.

I was impressed with the campaign for Bombay Sapphire; it's really original. Someone said, 'I know the creator,' and I met with Fritz in New York and really hit it off.

We're fortunate in having Lost, Desperate Housewives and My Name Is Earl but it is fiercely more competitive out there than ever before. This May you'll see a feeding frenzy.
