Everything is my mistake. I should have done everything on Sunday. I should have gotten gas, [barbecue] coal, lights, a flashlight. I can only blame myself.

If you don't want to burn uranium, you can burn coal or gas and melt the ice caps and break the bank, ... A truckload of uranium fuels a nuclear plant for two years, as compared to a trainload of coal every day.

We actually had a barbecue that Sunday, ... I was out in the garden while a lot of the other blokes were inside watching the cricket on TV. Every now and then someone would rush out and shout, 'Another wicket's gone.' I was struck by how weird it all seemed. I really was no longer a Test cricketer. I was just some ordinary guy looking after his barbecue while this momentous battle unfolded at Trent Bridge.

Use a gas barbecue grill instead of charcoal.

Coal isn't going away. Neither is natural gas. But we can become less dependent on them.

Gas is the best answer I can give you. Coal was replaced by gas in the mid 1960s, and at the time it was cheaper and easier. You didn't have to put coal up on the fire every day.
