He (Rodgers) was a good man. He was just out of school at Ohio University and he was obviously the best (applicant). He was very organized. He laid out his plans, his desires and his hopes.

His Little League teams had $35, $40 uniforms when I was buying $18 uniforms for my high school team. It all came out of his pocket. There was no passing the hat.

For the amount of help he (Rodgers) had, and we weren't blessed with a lot of football people in those days, he did an outstanding job. He got a lot of backing in the community. This community was definitely ready for football.

One thing Arch had was a lot of patience. The kids never quit. Arch never cut a kid. If you came out, you would get a suit.

I committed to the University of Cincinnati. I don't plan on leaving. I'm not going to drop out of school. As of right now, I plan to stay here. I like the school. I like the city. I like the fans and they like me. ... I just hope whoever gets the job gets some people to play around me because I'm going to need some help next year.

The goal is to basically have anyone operating a university vehicle to have ... the appropriate training so they can operate the vehicle safely. Our goal is to have a no-accident history here and make all travel as safe as possible.
