He was the typical eccentric, eclectic, simple man. By a lot of society standards, he may not have been labeled a success. If you looked at his heart and his soul, he was successful in every sense of the word.

Whether he was pushing a broom or teaching a class, he gave 100 percent.

A lot of people stepped up, made some sacrifices and helped out (the Katrina victims). But man, the way society is, we move on to the next issues so quickly. It's left up to us to maintain it, to keep the ball rolling in the right direction... They still need help. It's not like it's just over and done with.
