She was more than just a colleague and a leader in the Democratic Party. She was a real friend. This was a huge loss for me, personally. She was the kind of person I respect the most because she was not always the one looking for the limelight. She was in the trenches, working everyday.

I think what we did was basically say there's not anything new here. If there's nothing new, the only thing that's going to come out of it is we're going to deny it or you guys can come down and try to reach an agreement between the parties.

Rugby Force is a great idea to improve facilities at a real community rugby club and I am delighted to be involved. It promises to be a hard but enjoyable weekend and I am sure volunteers will turn out in force to help Finchley.
