He's the man, right? What would be more important in Congress right now than to respond to their own people?

The government has spent a lot of money to house people temporarily, but little has been done to enable people to come back and be residents of their city. There's no coherent strategy for the displaced to benefit from the reconstruction through jobs or housing or paying off their mortgages.

We wanted a right to vote on the proposed naval air station plan. This was not a 'no' vote. It was a positive exercise in democracy.

All of us are pretty outraged by what has not happened. There seems to be unlimited money for the war in Iraq, and no money to rebuild in this country.

He bought a house right across the corner from me (in New Jersey). He was just a great man. He's the one that drafted me. He gave me an opportunity. And after he sold the team, we became even better friends. It's a tough day.

You can't be angry. You can't be angry at the (nearly) 5,000 people who signed the petition. You can't be angry with the people who stood out there for two weeks collecting signatures.
