I appreciate the administration giving me a time line to meet with NFL teams, and now the time has come for me to say that I'm no longer a candidate for any NFL head coaching position. It was a great process and learning experience.

I started giving one guy a hard time about the upcoming (NFL) Saints-Panthers game, and he started to reach into his pocket because he wanted to bet me, ... Then he realized he lost his wallet in the flood.

They keep saying they don?t have the money because they?re giving it to the charters. They?d have to spend it on the kids anyhow. The kids in both charter schools are Chester kids.

They are a solid team and it will a much better effort than what we've been giving to beat them.

He's gotten a bad rap. It just doesn't seem right because he's only done good.

It was a great process and learning experience. I think it speaks volumes about the quality of our program at Fresno State. With the schemes we run and type of young men who come through our program, it's a great testament to our overall program that several NFL teams had a genuine interest.
