You can be distracted by all the facts and figure on a lab report. But you always should look at the diamond. The lab report doesn't necessarily say that the diamond is pretty, it only gives the physical characteristics of the stone.

You can't have a quality education without a sound financial background. They are getting quality education there. We need to make sure that quality education continues. We don't know what the state Legislature is going to do with the finances, and that will have a huge impact on what we do locally to support those finances.

Researchers may like to think that, given all the facts, we make rational choices. Ask economists how that assumption works out for them. No, we are emotional creatures who use value-based reasoning in conjunction with our rationality.
