I don't know how young people do it today.

We want to make sure people know they don't have to decide today, tomorrow, even Monday. There's a little bit of a concern that some seniors feel like they have to make a decision today. Of course, enrollment doesn't even begin until Nov. 15.

To come out and hit the ball the way we did today was exactly what we needed.

We keep hearing 'teach to the national standards.' But how can teachers make the subject relevant to students today?

I'm proud of our kids. We battled. We could have hung it up, but that's what we're working on: Trying to get better and keep battling.

We've tried to put our lineup in a situation where we have somebody behind him. We're just hoping that if they do pitch around him, we can get the job done.
