I have found that the people who don't like contracts because they say contracts show lack of trust are people who cannot be trusted - simply because they don't care to do business professionally.

Painting is a messy business.

If a client doesn’t value your work, then you shouldn’t sell it to them cheap, or trade it, & definitely never give it away.

You cannot have what you want when you put energy into the things you don't want

Unknown artists, creating what they are told, give their copyrights to the corporations that they work for. The artists that are making a difference, under their own name, in their own style, on their own terms, must forever own their own work, spiritually and legally

So many artists worry about selling out. But they don't know what that means. Selling out is when you have agreed to do something that goes against your personal values, in exchange for money. Period. It's different for everyone.
