I think it has an attraction: the Mardi Gras, Bourbon Street, the fun area, it's warmer than Madison. But now it's got the attraction of a city in dire need, a physical manifestation of a way we can help out.

This is like Bourbon Street.

History is literally drowning. Bourbon Street will always be there, but that's almost exclusively full of cover bands, and there are a ton of really classic old jazz places that aren't gonna come back.

I would like to see this become a Bourbon Street, where it's not only entertainment, it's where people live, where people work.

Along Ferry Street if you go west, the houses are on much smaller lots. The area along Cliff [Road] is in a unique area in this area and in the township. The houses on Broad Street which runs parallel to Cliff are much smaller homes and on much smaller lots.
