I think we need to explore the possibility.

If Siegel Middle has reached a point that it can no longer take students without going into portables, we need to look at the availability of space at Wilson (Elementary) and Walter Hill (Elementary).

The committee worked hard on trying to protect that as much as possible. I think the land use study is something that is beneficial for the community. It gives, hopefully, a guideline that kind of protects the individual and doesn't just let the region become one big suburban area.

We've really made an effort to look at the historical aspects of the region and put together a plan that the majority of citizens will be pleased with.

When you don't have to change student school zones, I think that's a plus.

It is such a significant statement to walk 60 miles for three days throughout the streets of Kansas City. It raises such awareness and touches so many people.
