I thought at the beginning of the season when we were home most of December that helped us a lot to gel as a team for when we went out on the road in the second half of the season.

At the beginning of the year, I think the girls saw the fact that everyone was gone and thought they were supposed to lose. It's taken some work, but now they really believe that they can be a good team. We're all really excited about the rest of the year.

It comes from our seniors having been in the program for four years. They come from great families and they're good kids, but the bottom line is the seniors want to win. When you have a group that wants to win as badly as they do, it's contagious.

This is a fun team to coach. This is a great group.

Team chemistry isn't something you coach. It's something you hope for.

At the beginning of the year, I think everybody picked us to be last. It's something that we never thought. But we've proved what everyone expected, I guess.
