The Celtic people are a highly emotional bunch, as we all know, God bless them. And my songs are based on pure emotion, most of them.

I think I probably am more influenced by the overall groove of the track, not even the song. If we pinpoint the songs (by others) I've done on this album, they were really more about the overall feel of the record than the lyrics. I mean, sometimes I don't even know what people are saying when they sing. When I was younger, it was phonetic; I liked the sound of the words much more so than the words.

Oh, we loved that song. We would be down 7-3 in the ninth inning, score five runs and the song would come on.
