I would say 75 percent of my girls go on to college. And I would say 90 percent of that group goes on to play rugby in college.

There are a huge amount of girls out there who want to play a contact sport, who play powder puff football and stuff like that. If you look on my teams, I've had little girls. I had a girl that was 4-foot-11 and she could tackle as well as anybody.

She outshines everybody else. After two months of practice and one-and-a-half months of games, she was noticed by the West Chester coach and she was picked to up to U-19 trials. That's the best of all.

They grow up playing softball, basketball, field whatever-it-is. The thing about rugby that's so great is these kids come out, and in one season, they learn to play the game. And not only that, they've learned how to play and to win the championship.

People who play this game learn to love it, and the camaraderie issue is what it's all about. It's a sport where you block and tackle and beat up each other, but after you go out and have a party.

The girls are accompanied by a college student wearing a tiara in the role of a 'fairy godmother' who helps them feel comfortable picking out a dress and finding the right size. It's incredible. The room is filled with dresses.
