I'm not a registered Republican or Democrat. I don't even vote.

I'm a registered Democrat and, like a lot of my species here in Connecticut, I don't know whom I'm going to vote for in August. If I had to vote tomorrow, I'd vote for Ned Lamont, but I'd leave the polling place shaking my head, wondering what the hell happened to Joe Lieberman.

It has nothing to do with Republican or Democrat, who I am or what I am, ... It's just that I'm the guy that's been doing it these many years and they've never done it before.

If we're going to vote on extraneous amendments that our Democrat colleagues want to vote on, then I want to vote on amendments that I think will benefit the country,
