I'd been used to working with an ensemble of six boys. When it became three girls, three boys, it changed things a little bit. We did a lot of duets as well as solos.

The tradition and the talent and the commitment to time and hard work doesn't change. It's like an island in time.

He was in Switzerland at the time and was coming home for a short period of time. I contacted him and asked him if he would be willing to be a guest performer. He came and danced with the dancing chorus.

I could see both the boys and girls races being very close. It isn't just Penn and then everybody else, like before. There are a lot of teams in the mix.

A lot of the girls can shoot as hard as the guys. (But) the boys are so much quicker and faster. And they shoot from everywhere. So it really helps us to always be ready. It's good for reflexes.

Since a lot of them, the varsity boys and some of the girls, ran during the summer, we have been able to hit some hill work and speed work earlier in the season. Plus, we have added some circuit training; which includes sit-ups, push-ups and various other exercises to build the core muscles.
