(I)f we are going to be kind, let it be out of simple generosity, not because we fear guilt or retribution.

As we enter into our third year supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation, I am confident the kindness and generosity of our children, parents and staff will continue to grow. At the rate we're going, I see no reason why we can't make our goal of raising $10 million by 2010.

I am so proud of Michigan's citizens for the kindness and generosity they have shown in assisting in this endeavor, ... It is truly heartwarming to see the compassion shown for those in need.

If you’re in a position to lift someone off the ground;

i. Say nothing about what it cost you to

ii. Don’t remind them that they were once on the ground

iii. Don’t be the one to take them back to the ground

If you can live with less of what you have.
You can be more of who you are.
