If we break the motor in St. Louis this weekend, we're in trouble. We've been talking a lot about this, because the following weekend we're in Indianapolis, and that's probably the biggest race of our lives.

I'll never forget that first race. I was nervous and really shaking. Racing is something I always wanted to do, and that was my big chance. My dad and uncle prepared me well. They taught me how to handle the car. Once I got in and started doing it, it was second nature.

We're still a little tired from this weekend and we had some trouble getting going. But once things did get going it made it a lot easier.

Besides the second game yesterday, this about matched Georgia last weekend as far as how effective we were swinging the bats and getting runs in. Hopefully we're hitting on all cylinders here.

It just gives me more incentive to win even more next weekend and the week after.

[The race of the weekend is Saturday's professional 4X100-meter relay, which an American team has won for the last five years.] It was really exciting as a college athlete watching the red, white and blue run the last day, ... Everybody comes on the last day to watch the professionals, whether it's raining or not.
