I'm not going to vote for any of the current sluggers or pitchers on the first ballot. It's my way of protesting the use of steroids. Beyond the first ballot, I just don't know. I hope we'll become better informed.

There could not have been a more decisive outcome of this ballot or a more decisive vote in favor a strike.

Advocacy is not only a direct appeal to someone to vote in favor or against, but also includes campaigning for the referendum by describing it in positive terms ... or by describing dire consequences if the referendum does not pass.

If it takes 10 pitchers, then let's do it.

We don't have an opinion or more importantly a vote one way or another. We're not thrilled with it ... but it's essentially up to the analysts.
