India would be a new experience. I kind of caught the traveling bug, and they have a lot of need there.

The girls from Tanzania were all between 17 and 25, they had little or no education. At the orphanage they would learn how to feed and clean the children and put them to bed. If a kid said his stomach hurt, one of the girls might hit them.

They have no diapers, and they all have diarrhea and they pee all over the place. I'd get pee and diarrhea all over my skirt. You just have to get used to it.

It's a very humbling experience. I'm just so thankful to be a part of three division championships in this franchise's history.

All of our pitchers are really young and we have a lot of sophomores that should get some varsity experience. They just have to work hard and we'll do fine.

When they said they wanted to experience it, I thought, 'Come on.... We're gonna show you a real good time!' And they gave me almost a whole day, so they sure did get a lot of ground covered...I don't know how often they have to go 4-wheeling or climb trees to do what they do, but that day, they did. Thank heavens those guys are athletic and have a sense of humor, 'cause we tore it up.
