It amazes me how fast kids catch on to the game. The progress they make is incredible. And one thing is for sure, we'll have a lot of fun.

One of my co-workers Rob Campbell played lacrosse in college and was always talking about it. He taught me the rules, the terminology and pretty soon I thought it might be kind of fun to introduce the game to kids in Pueblo.

We have 60-70 boys and 25 girls out. We were just hoping to have 25-30 boys our first year and now that's already doubled. Any time you are trying to grow a sport, it's great to see the interest and enthusiasm.

They want it. I know the kids want it. This is progress, but the kids want the playoffs.

I knew what he had. He's gotten better and better every year, in better shape every year. Some kids progress at different times. He's turned into a good hockey player.
