It has noting to do with the work of these fine teachers, but we have too many unknowns for next year at this time.

We hope to get this wrapped up in a month or so.

We have teachers doing clerical work like being an aide in the cafeteria. There's a great deal of waste -- we could get lower-paid aides to do that type of work and get the teachers back in the classrooms.

When teachers get together they can trade ideas, blow off steam and generally get better connected with the school. As a result, students get better, more enthusiastic teachers.

The teachers have worked really well with the students, too, as far as the work assignments.

It boils down to a handful of parents and teachers doing all the work ... a resource better used in the classroom than fundraising to go to Disneyland.
