It is a concession. Three years was what we asked for. It's the most generous amount of time we thought they would be willing to accept. I would have been even happier with five years.

If owning a NASCAR team is so great, then ask Rusty Wallace and some of these other guys why they're not jumping in the water. Because you have to be borderline insane to want to do this, given the financial risks involved.

They've got a different way of racing than what we've normally had. The truck series has gone through a revolution of carrying in technology that otherwise wasn't required and certainly not justified based on the public sponsorships.

We don't have a realistic prospect of beating the 48 or the 20 with any of our cars, unless somebody has trouble, ... I expect them to run in the top five the rest of the way. We've had a great run.

On the face of it, I'm cheering for them for going out and finding something with the same parts the rest of us are running and making it work better, which they did,

I've been telling the guys that we hadn't peaked yet and if it came soon enough we might have a chance. I'd all but written off our chances to get in (the Chase) three races ago, but Robbie (Reiser, crew chief) and the guys didn't lose the faith. We've got it turned around now.
