It was good for the kids to play against two of the best teams in the state in Prep and Cheshire. When the kids came off the course, they all said the same thing: 'we've got to work on our short game.' Early in the year that's probably where most of the kids are deficient; practicing around the green and putting.

Keith started 4-2-3-3, so he was three under after four, but he had some problems after that.

We are one of the smaller schools so it is tough enough to find kids to play. The larger schools have a bigger pool to pick from.

The kids were screaming, they were in shock and one kid definitely had a broken leg. Another kid, a cable that's on the street over there was wrapped around the kid's neck, he couldn't breathe, so we tried moving that out of the way, but I didn't want to move the kids because I was afraid that any movement would hurt them. I just wanted to make sure they were protected from any additional injury.

We have a new vaccine against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis. It's called Boostrix [and it is] licensed for kids 11 to 18 years of age.
