It wasn't until I was about 10 that I started venturing into my sister's collection of tapes. At that time I wanted to learn new music and that was the beginning of my addiction to '80s alternative.

I started collecting vinyl since I was about 14. But prior to that, I was always interested in knowing more about music. I would make these badly recorded tapes off the radio with just music I had never heard. At that time, I was into everything, my mom's music, my grandmother's. Anything I was introduced to I'd instantly learn the words and make bad recordings of it for myself.

The Pixies took it all. Just to see them get back together and play that well was great. I had seen Frank Black (Pixies lead singer) perform solo before, but this was the best I had seen him perform.

At fourteen, I started sending out demo tapes.

I got a friend started with the tapes, and they made her feel so good. She didn't live much longer, but it meant so much to her,

The laws are different and up for interpretation but I wasn't venturing into a discussion about something that wasn't on the agenda. A conversation on a forensic audit was brought up under 'budget.' You tell me how that fits in.
