The Pixies took it all. Just to see them get back together and play that well was great. I had seen Frank Black (Pixies lead singer) perform solo before, but this was the best I had seen him perform.

I started collecting vinyl since I was about 14. But prior to that, I was always interested in knowing more about music. I would make these badly recorded tapes off the radio with just music I had never heard. At that time, I was into everything, my mom's music, my grandmother's. Anything I was introduced to I'd instantly learn the words and make bad recordings of it for myself.

It wasn't until I was about 10 that I started venturing into my sister's collection of tapes. At that time I wanted to learn new music and that was the beginning of my addiction to '80s alternative.

I feel great. I feel 100 percent. I'm ready to play.

It took a little while for our staff to see who played well together. Then we played loose and aggressive.

They took it. Nobody pouted. The captains got them together and all's well that ends well.
